These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of MuscomES School Management System (the "Platform"), a school management system made available to schools, teachers, students, and parents. By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility and Accounts
The Platform is intended to be used by schools and their authorized staff, students, and parents/guardians. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
2. Description of Service
MuscomES School Management System provides tools for managing attendance, academics, exams, fees, timetables, communication, and related school operations. Features available to a given school depend on the subscription plan chosen by that school.
3. Subscription and Payment
- Access to certain features requires an active paid subscription. Prices, billing cycles, and available plans are shown at the time of purchase.
- Payments are processed through third-party payment providers (including Stripe, Razorpay, Paystack, and Flutterwave). We do not store full payment card details on our servers.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- A free trial may be offered on eligible plans; trial terms are shown at signup.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Upload or share content that is defamatory, harassing, obscene, or that infringes another party's rights.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform, other accounts, or any connected systems.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform.
5. School and User Data
Data entered into the Platform (student records, attendance, grades, communications, etc.) is owned and controlled by the school administering the account. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Intellectual Property
The Platform, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Platform in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the Platform without prior written permission.
7. Service Availability
We aim to keep the Platform available and performant but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Scheduled maintenance or unforeseen issues may result in temporary downtime.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MuscomES School Management System shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Platform.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Platform for any account that violates these Terms or engages in fraudulent or harmful activity. A school may cancel its subscription at any time in accordance with our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
